L’area delle politiche europee e internazionali coordina le attività della Cgil a livello europeo e internazionale, rappresentandone le istanze nella CES, Confederazione Europea dei Sindacati e nella CSI, Confederazione Sindacale Internazionale, cui è affiliata.

E’ responsabile dei rapporti con le istituzioni europee e internazionali, con gli organismi intergovernativi e le organizzazioni che si occupano di temi sindacali globali.

Collabora con le confederazioni sindacali italiane e straniere ed è attiva nel settore della cooperazione e dello sviluppo, nella progettazione europea ed internazionale e nel dialogo con le associazioni e le reti della società civile

European and International Policy Area

The European and International Policies Area coordinates of the activities of the Cgil at the European and international level, representing its demands in the ETUC, European Trade Union Confederation, and in the ITUC, International Trade Union Confederation, to which it is affiliated.

It is responsible for the relationships with the European and international institutions, intergovernmental bodies and organisations dealing with global trade union issues.

It collaborates with the national and foreign trade union confederations and is active in the field of cooperation and development, European and international projects and the dialogue with the associations and networks of the civil society.
